Jesus' First Miracle

Dear St. Paul's Congregation,

Hope to see you all this Sunday. The cold weather has taken it's toll and I've been missing some of you.

This Sunday our prescribed readings take us to John 2:1-11, the first miracle of Jesus. He changes water into wine. I've been working hard on this message, which you wouldn't think would be so hard, because it is a very familiar passage. However, I've uncovered some great stuff that I think will offer practical help to all of you. The sermon is called "The Good Life."

Have you checked out our web site lately (www.stpaulsefree.org)? Here are some of the things you can do on the web site:

  1. Look at all the newsletters we have published.
  2. Look at all the "St. Paul's in Action" we have published.
  3. Listen to all the sermons for the last year or so.
  4. Look at all the sermon notes from the last year or so. Sermon notes are put on the web by Friday morning, so you can start working on your small group questions even before Sunday.
  5. Look at all the recent news and talk with other members on the pastor's blog.
  6. See great pictures of things that are happening at St. Paul's.
