Concerns and Daylight Savings Reminder

Dear St. Paul's Congregation,

Concerns. There are several concerns to bring to your attention at this time:

  1. Mike O'Rourke's mother, Alice O'Rourke, passed away on Tuesday. Visitation is on Friday (2-8) at Ortmann Funeral Home on Olive (see obituary below), with a funeral mass at St. Monica's on Saturday (9:30).  Our sympathy to Mike and his entire family.
  2. Jim Knappenberger's father, Jay, is very sick and near death at Missouri Baptist Hospital. Please keep Jay, Jim and Joani and Melissa in your prayer.
  3. Grace Koewing is having surgery tomorrow for knee replacement.

Daylight Savings Begins. Also, please remember that we lose an hour this Sunday. Please set your clocks ahead by one hour on Saturday night, so that your alarm will go off and hopefully we will all get to church on time (including the pastors). We have a guest preacher this Sunday, John Splinter. I have asked him to do one of the messages in our Authentic series, dealing with raising children in a highly sexualized culture.

Let's continue our prayers for one another. Let's keep the love flowing as we encourage one another and build each other up.

Grace, mercy and peace to all!

Pastor Mark Friz
