Worship on Father's Day, June 19

Dear St. Paul's Congregation,

This Sunday is a great day to honor both our earthy fathers, and our Heavenly Father. Our worship theme will be The Fatherhood of God. Our guest preacher, Doug Merkey, will preach a sermon based on Galatians 4:1-7 called, Abba, Father.

In the first service, we have special music, The Father's Song by Matt Redman (sung by Shelly Pickard). We will also have a VBS Video to celebrate what God has done this past week here at our VBS program. Our final hymn will be a new hymn called, "I Have a Dad," sung to the tune of "O Danny Boy."

The Preparation for Worship in the Second Service will begin around 10:57. Dustin Burggraaf will be our guest worship leader, while Nathan is on vacation.  The worship music focuses on the Fatherhood of God, our adoption as sons and daughters into God's family, and on the personal nature of our relationship with our Heavenly Father.

BETWEEN SERVICES, please join us for refreshments from 9:45- to 10:00 in the multipurpose room. Let's spend a few moment in fellowship, honoring fathers.
