Please see Laurie Wilmes' obituary below. Notice that rather than going to the cemetery after her 10:00 a.m. funeral, we will be headed directly to the lunch reception.

Laurine M. Wilmes died suddenly on January 18, 2012. Laurine (nee Monje) was born on January 17, 1918 in Hermann, MO to Paul and Amanda Monje. She married Charles W. Wilmes on September 8, 1951 and he was the love of her life always. Charles died on July 14, 1972. Laurine retired from a career with the IRS and enjoyed life to the fullest! She was a beloved sister-in-law, aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt. She lavished her love and attention on all of her family members and many long-time friends including the Club 14. 

 

Memorial Service: St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, 9801 Olive Boulevard, St. Louis, MO on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Family will greet guests at 9:00 a.m. After the Service, join us for a lunch reception at St. Paul’s to celebrate the remarkable spirit and life of Laurie. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul’s Evangelical Church appreciated.
