And now a word from our team members...
After four days with the French campers, our group commented on what they are enjoying and observing. Here's what they have to say:
Daniel: "I would have to say that my favorite daily activity has been the consumption of delicious French bread at every meal."
Anna: "I have enjoyed the beautiful environment, all the pretty flowers around the camp and the village. I also love seeing the mountains at night, because behind them, there's always a beautiful sky."
Laura: "I have met some great people who are very friendly and great to hang out with. Everyone is relaxed, and the view is amazing. God is doing great things."
Megan: "The French people are so nice! I've made a lot of friends! Even though you would think the language would be a barrier, it isn't. We can easily relate to each other and enjoy praising God together."
Amelia: "I've enjoyed all the games and meeting all the French people."
Kellie: "I have loved hearing the French accents when the French speak English!"
Kevin: "Interacting with all of the French kids has been the highlight of my week so far. The meals have also been enjoyable, especially the bread! Please pray for two boys in my room who have told me they are not Christians for various reasons. They both seem open to talking about their faith and each day they are learning more about the gospel."
Nick: "My favorite part of TED is just meeting all the kids and learning the different cultures."
Melissa: "The best part of TED is coming together with people from all over the world with a common purpose. Exchanging cultures, language, food, and activities is very broadening for a small group of Americans from little ol' St. Louis, MO."
