Camp TED 2011 Comes to a Close
And so, two weeks after welcoming each other to Champfleuri, everyone said their Good-Byes this morning. There was much laughter, many hugs, the exchange of emails, hundreds of photos taken, and as each camper left, a few tears.
What an incredible two weeks, filled with fellowship, faith, friendship, and lots of fun. This group of over 80 people became almost like family. The love of Christ was evident throughout the camp in everything from worship and learning times, group activities, small groups, cabin time, and special extended times of hiking and camping out.
Many people left with a stronger and, hopefully lasting, relationship with God, whether they came as believers or came to know Jesus Christ during this time. And this would include not just the French campers, but the intentional campers and counselors as well.
Our thanks to everyone who helped make this experience possible, and prayed over the camp from all over the world. Please continue to pray for the lives of all the young people who were here, as they return to their homes and daily routines.
