Friday meetings, preparation and bonding

Today is Friday, which means that the French campers come tomorrow!  It also means that the TED counselors had meetings all day to prepare.  We learned about what to do in a fire drill and how to keep kids safe.  We went over every detail of the schedule, and everyone was assigned duties.  

While the counselors met, the Kellie and Amelia pulling weeds...youth helped get the camp ready by finishing a few clean-up duties around the grounds.  

They also played an organized game, and then worked their way into enjoying all sorts of other activities like frisbee, volleyball, basketball, and just generally "hanging out."

When they were asked if anyone wanted to help post on the blog, none of our group slowed down to help.  They just said, "tell them we are having fun getting to know people from Wales!"  And then they were off to the field again.
