1 Timothy 1:1-11 In this, the first in a series of 12 sermons from 1 Timothy, Pastor Mark Friz reflects on Paul's message to his "son in the faith," Timothy. Timothy had been sent to Ephesus to protect the church from false doctrines and "wolves" which had crept in among the church. Even though Timothy was timid, and often in poor health, Paul expresses confidence in his ability, and instructs Timothy on how to protect the church.
