Nehemiah 1:1-11 In this, the beginning sermon in a series of six, Pastor Mark Friz looks into the authentic prayer life of an Old Testament lay leader, by the name of Nehemiah. Nehemiah led the effort to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem in 445 BC, and the effort was all undergirded with a passionate prayer life. This message give three answers to the question, "What is Authentic Prayer?" The message helps believes pray from a ministry passion, to pray humbly, and also to pray specifically with God's promises in mind.
