Instrumental ChoirsTo be able to worship God in music can also happen not just with voices but with the pure joy of ringing out praise to him with bells or perhaps by playing a violin, a flute or piano to just name a few of the instruments that are in our lives. A gift that one can take with them anywhere and everywhere for their whole life. What joy can be found in the playing of music for God! It is truly a spring of refreshment to the soul.
Young Ringers
The Young Ringers include students from the third through sixth grades and is directed by Janet Rolle. This energetic group of children are learn the fundamentals of reading music and playing bells. Practice is on Thursday evenings from 7:45 to 8:30 p.m. They share their talents in worship services about month to month and a half.
Celebration Ringers
Students in seventh to twelfth grades participate in the Celebration Ringers. Due to Confirmation Class, this group is not meeting at present, but they hope to resume in fall of 2007.
Praise Ringers
The praise ringers, our adult bell choir, is directed by Lois Percival. The choir is comprised of 15 to 18 very talented ringers and substitutes. It meets on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. They currently share their joyful ringing at worship services every five to six weeks. Many of the gifted performers of this group have attended the National Handbell Festival and area summer workshops.
St. Paul's Orchestra
Our orchestra includes all ages and is directed by Lois Percival. It is a delightful combination of instrumentalists of all ages and range of experience. There rehearsals follow a very flexible schedule and depend on when they are scheduled to perform. This group has played for some of our special services as well as for several summer worship services. Additional musicians are always welcome.
